This policy explains what information Thawpoint LLC collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to thawpointco.com and to the services we provide to our clients.
Who we are
Thawpoint LLC is a New Jersey limited liability company providing marketing and lead generation services to residential contractors. You can reach us at adam@thawpointco.com or +1 (973)-355-7026.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
Information you give us
When you submit a form on this website, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything else you choose to tell us about your business. If you contact us by phone or email, we keep a record of that conversation.
Information we collect automatically
Our website and hosting provider record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring source. We use this to understand how the site is being found and used.
Information our clients share with us
When we deliver services to a contractor, we process contact information belonging to that contractor's own customers and prospects. We handle that data on the contractor's behalf and only to deliver the services they have engaged us for.
SMS and mobile information
If you check the SMS consent box on our contact form, you are agreeing to receive text messages from Thawpoint related to the audit or inquiry you submitted. Consent is optional. You can submit the form without checking the box, and we will contact you by phone or email instead.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service or message delivery, is permitted solely for that purpose. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance or STOP at any time to opt out. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to work with us by phone or email. Full messaging terms are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on thawpointco.com. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device that allows a site to recognize your browser and remember certain information.
What we use
- Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the site and our embedded contact form to function, including session handling and spam prevention. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Analytics cookies. Used to understand how visitors find and move through the site โ pages viewed, time on page, referring source, and general device and browser type. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
- Form and lead-attribution cookies. Set by our CRM and form provider so that a form submission can be connected to the visit it came from, and so a partially completed form is not lost on page reload.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.
Third-party technologies
Some cookies are set by services we use to operate the site rather than by us directly. These currently include our website host, our CRM and form provider, and the font provider used for the site's typography. Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data it collects.
Server logs and similar data
Independently of cookies, our hosting provider records standard technical information for every visit, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, and the time of the request. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding traffic volume.
How to control cookies
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings, and you can set your browser to warn you before a cookie is placed. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the contact form from working correctly. You can also send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal from your browser; where we receive one, we treat it as a request to disable analytics cookies for that visit.
Cookies we set expire automatically. Session cookies are removed when you close your browser; persistent cookies used for analytics and attribution expire within a period set by the relevant provider, typically no longer than two years.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule and conduct lead audits
- To deliver, support, and improve the services our clients have engaged us for
- To send service-related messages about an active engagement
- To send invoices and process payments
- To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the information you give us to build advertising profiles.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it to do that work. These currently include our CRM and messaging platform, our website host, our email provider, and our payment processor. Each is bound to use the information only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
As stated above, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are excluded from all sharing except with subcontractors providing message delivery or customer support on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward. Client data is retained for the duration of the engagement and returned or deleted at the end of it on request. Records we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons are retained for the applicable period.
Your choices
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional email.
- Access, correction, and deletion. Email us and we will provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Security
We use reputable third-party platforms with industry-standard safeguards, restrict access to the people who need it, and use multi-factor authentication on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are directed at businesses. You must be at least 18 years old to use this website, submit a form, or subscribe to our SMS program. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, email us and we will delete it. See our Terms & Conditions for full eligibility requirements.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we handle SMS or personal data will be posted here before taking effect.
